Bright and early on Thursday May 16th, NAR Chief Economist Lawrence Yun presented his economic outlook on current and forecast trends to members attending the 2019 NAR Legislative Meetings & Expo.  In his update, Yun spoke about challenges facing the economy, as well as positive developments that members should watch for.

 

Also speaking were Danielle Hale, Chief Economist at realtor.com, and Dr. Johann Stroebel, Associate Professor of Finance at New York University.  Hale gave a market outlook and spoke about affordability trends nationally and on state and county levels, and Stroebel spoke about the effect of a potential buyer’s social network on their desire to purchase a home.
